Welcome to Pundit Politics – a site dedicated to the idea that political opinions and discourse ought to be grounded in relevant facts, as opposed to personal sentiments alone. To that end, we have revamped and improved our Political IQ Tests, which continue to be the most thorough and comprehensive political knowledge tests on the web. In addition to offering more testing content, we have broken down the data for your viewing pleasure on our political knowledge statistics page, providing a truly unique resource for measuring political informedness.
We have also added several completely new features to the website, including the Pundit Politics Blog that you are reading now, which you can expect to feature informative, fact-based commentary on all sorts of political issues, ranging from the War in Iraq, to the recent economic meltdown, to science and technology policy. The general idea of the blog is to approach political debate and discussion from a fact-based perspective. Thus, while you might not always agree with our opinions, we hope that at least you will find our posts informative and educational.
While it is impossible to cover every relevant fact, our posts generally will try and lay a solid factual foundation for a political point or opinion, and attempt to show why these facts are relevant to the issue at hand. Of course, we recognize that our commentary will feature the occasional error and… heaven forbid, even debatably flawed logic, and we therefore strongly encourage discussion and feedback on our content.
Onward to the blogging!
